KÜHLE MATROSEN is a unique blend of DIY, Minimal, Synth Wave, Neue Deutsche Welle, and Post-punk influences, hailing from Hamburg, Germany 🇩🇪. The duo consists of Hubert Kühl (vocals, aka Lars Trombose) and Marc Trose (machines), paying homage to ‘Blaue Matrosen’ by Der Moderne Man (1982). After exploring rap and techno, Lars Kühl shifted his focus in 2018, creating raw sounds inspired by early '80s legends like DAF. Their debut tracks “Bräutigam”, “Gold”, and “Theoretisch Magnetisch” have set the tone for their exciting journey, with releases through Kernkrach, Hertz-Schrittmacher, Ölband, and Young & Cold Records.
