Repair Cafe - Saturday, 12 September 2026

🛠️ Get ready to repair!

On 12 September 2026, we're back at Sherwood Methodist Church in the upstairs rooms from 14:00 - 17:00. This event is a great opportunity to either share your repair skills or learn something new!

Got broken items? 🤔 Whether it's a hole in your jumper, a bike that needs some love, or a kettle that's gone kaput, bring them along!

Here's what to expect:

• Drop-in appointments:

  • Bikes and clothing repairs
  • Knitwear and textile fixes

• Electronics? You can book a spot for small electrical appliances and devices, but tickets will be available about two weeks before the event. Only limited slots for electrical items so make sure to secure yours!

  • Each appointment lasts 30 minutes and is limited to one per person.

• We love to assist you in learning repairs, but we are not professional repairers. Certain items (like microwaves and TVs) cannot be fixed.
• Please take responsibility for your items, and remember to back up any data on your devices.

🚌 Getting Here: Make use of Lime and Purple line buses with a stop at Bingham Road. There’s also street parking available near the church.
