Restorative Forest Experience - Seurasaari

Join us for a serene guided forest walk on the enchanting Seurasaari Island, where you can discover the restorative power of nature. 🌿

Through mindful observation and gentle engagement with the forest, take a moment to slow down, unwind, and enhance your senses.

Step away from the busy pace of everyday life and delve into an embodied connection with nature. Engage in selected ForestMind exercises, with opportunities for shared reflection in a supportive and safe atmosphere. 🌼

These gentle exercises aim to help you open your senses, nurture a feeling of tranquility, and practice present-moment awareness. Techniques include noticing and accepting your thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations.

Developed in Finland by Sirpa Arvonen, this method combines research on nature's health benefits with accessible mindfulness practices, making it suitable for everyone—regardless of age, fitness, or previous experience. 🌍

Leave the forest feeling grounded, rejuvenated, and more connected to both yourself and your environment.

Program Details:

• Location: Seurasaari Island – Approximately 3.5 km of easy-access forest trails.
• Meeting Point: Just before the white bridge in Seurasaari (visible upon disembarking from the bus).
• Age Requirement: 18 years and older.

Weather Note: The activity will proceed rain or shine. Please wear comfortable clothing, sturdy shoes, and bring a water bottle along with an open mind. No extra equipment needed. ☔️

COSTS: Free! Participants only need to cover their own bus fare to and from Seurasaari.
