Step into the writing zone with us in-person for the first time since the pandemic! 🎉 The beloved "Shut Up and Write" series, previously at Crossroads Café in SF, has found a new home at Sana'a Cafe located at 199 New Montgomery Street, San Francisco, CA 94105.

At Sana'a Cafe, indulge in delicious Yemenite Coffee, refreshing tea, flavorful chai, delightful ice chocolate, and an array of pastries to fuel your creativity. 🍰☕ When you arrive, please stop at our welcoming table marked with the "Shut Up & Write" sign—we'd love to know you've joined us! 😊

All forms of writing are celebrated here—be it poetry, prose, non-fiction, academic work, or even comedy and tragedy. Whether it's school assignments or personal projects, everyone's writing journey is better supported by tasty treats, good company, and accountability from fellow writers. Just a note, we're not a critique group, so no unsolicited feedback here! 🚫

Here’s how the evening will flow:

• 6:30 PM: Introductions & Chat
• 6:40 PM: Writing Session
• 7:50 PM: Check-In & Wrap-Up

While attendance is free, we kindly ask that you purchase a drink or snack occasionally to help maintain our cozy relationship with the café. 🍵✨ And don't rush out after the session; feel free to linger a bit longer as the café stays open until 10:00 PM!
