✍️ Join us for an engaging hour of writing! Experience the power of writing alongside fellow writers at the stunning 7th floor of the Central Library Amsterdam on Monday evenings.

Whether you’re crafting a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem, or just plain work stuff, everyone is welcome to dive into their writing projects. No judgments or unsolicited advice — just a productive atmosphere to get your words flowing!

📅 Schedule:

• 7:15 PM - Quick introductions
• 7:30 PM - Timer starts: Write for an hour!
• 8:30 PM - The End: Chat with others, take off, or keep on writing.

🤝 Optional Socializing:

Post-writing, at 8:30 PM, join others for some relaxing conversation. Writing can often feel solitary, and connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with fellow writers can be a refreshing experience!

🕒 Latecomers Welcome!

Don’t stress if you arrive late! Feel free to settle in and check in with the host (look for the Shut Up & Write! sign) after the session. If you arrive on time, kindly make space for anyone who arrives late.

🎒 What to Bring:

Bring anything you need to write! Consider bringing earbuds or earplugs if you’d like to block out café noise. Also, make sure your devices are fully charged, as charging stations may not always be available.

📡 Important Notes:

• A library membership is necessary for WiFi access.
• While it's not mandatory to purchase food or drinks, please note that bringing your own is not allowed.
