An ancient Japanese legend says that when two people are destined to be together, an invisible red thread connects them from the day they are born. This thread cannot be broken; it connects people forever, whether they want it or not.

Alex and Bruno are not very similar. Alex is a bartender, Bruno an architect. Alex looks like he's ready to be photographed for the cover of a magazine at any moment. Bruno likes plaid shirts and guys like Alex make him nervous. Alex goes to two gyms, while Bruno watches old movies... the two meet by accident. The ensuing whirlwind of events, which spirals out of control for both of them, changes their lives forever.
