(2) the new HAX Plasma Forge in Princeton, NJ — SOSV's new facility dedicated to commercializing plasma technology.
What to Expect
The HAX Plasma Forge is a partnership between SOSV, the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL), and the NJEDA, backed by over $50M in combined funding. The Forge will offer up to 10,000 sq ft of purpose-built lab and co-working space for plasma-enabled startups, with applications spanning fusion energy, semiconductor fabrication, advanced materials, and plasma catalysis.
SOSV has signed the lease with SRI and construction is underway. The HAX team will walk you through the build-out progress, plans for the space, and vision for the program.
The Princeton Plasma Physics is a U.S. Department of Energy national facility managed by Princeton University that conducts world-class research on plasma science, with a primary mission to harness nuclear fusion as a safe, clean, and virtually limitless energy source.

8:00am walk to Penn Station - NJ Transit to Princeton Junction
8:12am depart by NJ Transit train to Princeton Junction. Northeast Corridor #3825

9:30 arrive at Princeton Junction, SOSV-arranged van for transport to Princeton Plasma Physics Lab [100 Stellarator Road, Princeton, NJ 08540]
[Note: if you are driving separately to PPPL, please let us know so we don't wait for you at the train. Directions: https://www.pppl.gov/contact/visiting-pppl > "how to get here". For parking, there is visitor parking inside the gate of PPPL, if you have clearance to enter then once you get through the gate you can park in the visitor lot.]
10-11:30: visit Princeton Plasma Physics Lab (PPPL).
11:45-12: travel to HAX Forge site [201 Washington Road, Princeton, NJ 08540]
12-1:30: visit HAX Plasma Forge + Lunch onsite
1:30-1:45: travel to Princeton Junction
1:57: Train departs Princeton Junction to NYC: NJ Transit Northeast Corridor #3848 to NY Penn Station
3:15 Train scheduled to arrive NYC Penn Station

We will travel to Princeton by train. Transportation will be organized between sites in Princeton. Please get in touch if you would like to attend only one of the site visits.
This visit takes place during AGM week — our Annual General Meeting is on Wednesday, June 3 in NYC.
Directions to SOSV NY Office:
The SOSV NY Office is on the 9th Floor of Seven Penn Plaza, right next to NYC’s Penn Station. The entrance to the building is on 7th Avenue between 30th and 31st street. We suggest entering 370 7th Ave, 9th Floor, New York, NY 10001 into Google maps (entering 7 Penn Plaza can give misdirections). The bus for the HAX tour will meet you on 7th Avenue outside of the office.
