STASH – Exhibition

Join us for a heartfelt celebration of the extraordinary life and artistic journey of Anastasia Lewis, affectionately known as Stash by her family and friends. This retrospective showcases an impressive collection of her artwork, reflecting 30 years of her dedication as a full-time artist.

Anastasia’s artistic practice delved into what lies beneath the surface, offering deeper insights beyond mere appearances. Her work is characterized by a compelling sense of structure, ranging from the formal grids of her earlier pieces to captivating butterflies depicted in patterns and repetitions. More recently, her landscapes—shaped by serene walks along the Lincolnshire coast—bring a fresh perspective to her creative evolution.

While primarily a painter, Anastasia also expressed her creativity through works on paper, collage, and photography, often using these mediums while waiting for her paint to dry. Her vibrant abstracts shared in her last Instagram posts convey the message 'the traces we leave as we walk,' beautifully marrying geometry and nature.
