Ikonografický motiv sv. Anny Samotřetí zobrazuje světici jako matku Panny Marii a babičku Ježíše Krista.
Pozdně gotická socha z okruhu Mistra týneckého Zvěstování měla své místo v kostele v Plané nade Mží, odkud však byla v 90. letech 20. století odcizena.
Jejímu zpětnému navrácení ze zahraničí přála jen šťastná souhra okolností.
