Join Us for a Day of Fencing Fun!

🤺 The Battle of Bargo invites all members of the Stoccata School of Defence and affiliated clubs to participate in a vibrant social fencing day, featuring a unique tournament twist!

🗓️ This event is designed for you to enjoy as many bouts as possible throughout the day in a light-hearted, dance-card style format. All styles and weapons practiced within Stoccata are welcome!

🥇 Tournament Highlights:

• Dance Card System: Each fencer must engage in 6 matches with different opponents.
• Match Rules: Each bout will be a separate fight, where participants agree on a suitable weapon for their combat level. Non-heavy gear fencers may even fence with boffers!
• Each match will consist of the best of 9 passes, with true double hits not counting.
• Right of way can be agreed upon by competitors if necessary.

🏆 The fencer with the most wins on their card will earn the prestigious title of King/Queen of Bargo, alongside a prize for best and fairest!

🎉 Ultimately, this day is about enjoying social fencing and having fun, so don’t stress about the tournament aspect—it’s entirely optional!

💵 Cost: $10, open to all Stoccata members and any affiliated club members who wish to join in the fun.
