Since their inception in 1986 in Walthamstow, London, The Bevis Frond has been the enduring solo venture of guitarist and singer-songwriter Nick Saloman. After a life-changing motorbike accident in 1982, he began crafting his unique sound with a four-track portastudio, embracing a do-it-yourself approach. Over the decades, The Bevis Frond has released more than twenty studio albums, with their latest, Focus On Nature (2024), on Fire Records.
Gerard Love, the Glasgow-based singer-songwriter, is best known for co-founding Teenage Fanclub in 1989. After almost three decades, he departed the band in 2018. His solo project, Lightships, produced the debut album Electric Cables, showcasing his softer, melodic songwriting style. Currently, Love is finalizing a new album with Bill Ryder-Jones under the name Gerard Love & The Magic Influence.
