The Build Room is a short, high-intensity session in New York for engineers who want to be tested, not entertained. You’ll be dropped into a small group, given a problem, and expected to build something that holds up under uncertainty. AI tools are fair game, but judgment matters more than autocomplete. There are no talks, no panels, and no sidelines. When the door closes, it is time to make decisions, write code, and see what actually works.
This is designed to be focused, fast, and selective. Not everyone gets in, and that is the point. We are looking for people who can think clearly under pressure, adapt when the plan breaks, and ship a system that does what it needs to do. If that sounds fun, you will probably feel right at home.
