🥋 Kodokan Ruleset Highlights:

1. Contestants must wear a coat and belt.
2. Defeat occurs when both shoulders and hips touch the floor due to being thrown.
3. A fighter is defeated if they cannot escape within two seconds from a pinned position.
4. Serious injuries and tricks like kicking and joint locks are prohibited.
5. Submission leads to defeat when an opponent applies a hold successfully.
6. Acknowledgment of defeat can be signaled by patting the ground or the opponent.
7. The victor must release their hold immediately upon acknowledgment of submission.
8. Jiu-Jitsu practitioners can use their defensive techniques without liability for injuries.
9. Proper agreements must be signed and witnessed to ensure participant safety.
