Tony Trischka, hailed as the father of modern bluegrass by The New York Times, is set to honor the legendary Earl Scruggs, a key figure in bluegrass music and the pioneer of the three-finger banjo style. With a career spanning over 50 years, Tony has influenced a generation of musicians through his unique banjo artistry.

Having recently acquired rare recordings of jam sessions with Scruggs and John Hartford, Tony will faithfully perform Scruggs’s note-for-note solos from songs that had never been recorded before! 🎤🎸This tribute not only highlights Earl's life and career but also includes an upcoming album produced with a new label led by some of the founders of Rounder Records.

Joining Tony is a stellar band: Michael Daves on vocals and guitar, renowned fiddler Alex Hargreaves, and bassist Jared Engel. Together, they will take you on an inspiring journey from Scruggs's childhood to his impactful legacy in music.
