Join us for ICD’s Sports and Adventure Camps - an exciting multi-sport day program that fosters confidence, diabetes literacy, and lifelong friendships! 🤝🌈

Campers of all abilities will enjoy a fantastic blend of sports, games, and mentorship while gaining essential real-world diabetes management skills in a supportive and active environment. 🏃‍♂️🏀

What to Expect:

• Daily Mix of Activities: Sports drills, gym games, carb-counting, and diabetes discussions integrated into the fun! 🥳
• Guidance from Experts: Our dedicated youth leaders and coaches living with T1D will help campers develop independence and resilience. 💪
• Inclusive Community: Open to children aged 5–15, with or without type 1 diabetes. Friends and siblings are always welcome! 👦👧
• Leadership Development: Campers aged 13–15 can engage in our integrated leadership program, while youth 16+ are invited to volunteer for community service hours. 🌟

Venue: Tait McKenzie Centre, York University, Toronto, ON

Cost: $350 per camper per week + $5.50 processing fee 💵

Communication with Parents: We keep parents updated at the start and end of each day, ensuring confidence in the day's plan. Our team tracks testing, snacks, and insulin doses, providing valuable insights for ongoing diabetes management. 📞
