Uetliberg Design Networking Hike

A Creative Walk & Talk for Designers and Creatives

Join us for a refreshing half-day hike along the beautiful Uetliberg ridge, where we aim to connect beyond traditional networking formats.

🌿 No presentations. No panels. Just inspiring conversations with great people along the trail.

We kick off at Triemli Station and embark on a scenic 1.5-hour forest hike to Uto Staffel, guided by Mario Stipetic. After reaching Uto Staffel, enjoy a relaxed ridge walk of 1 to 1.5 hours along the Planetenweg, taking in magnificent views of Zürich, the lake, and the Alps.

💬 Conversations will flow organically as we walk in small groups, rotating to share insights on current projects, creative challenges, and compelling topics such as AI in design.

The journey concludes at the charming Gut Mädikon Hofcafé, a hidden gem where we will take an hour to savor coffee, homemade cake, and pleasant discussions.

This experience offers networking without the pressure—just movement, fresh air, and meaningful exchanges. See you there! 😇

The Easy Route
Prefer to avoid the steep climb? Take the S10 train from Zürich HB to Uetliberg (about 20 minutes), then stroll down to Uto Staffel to meet us around 11:00 AM—timing will be confirmed in the group on the day.

Getting Back
We will return along the ridge to Uetliberg, either retracing the Planetenweg or taking the path near the Uetliberg tower. From there, it's a short walk to Triemli station for the train back home.

Physical Fitness
The initial ascent is steep and takes about 1.5 hours, requiring moderate fitness. If you have any concerns, opt for the easy route; the views are equally stunning, and the café's cake is delectable!
