Vinnies Van: Family Sandwich making mornings

Join us for a fulfilling experience as we come together to prepare sandwiches for those in need! St. Michael's families are invited to participate on select Fridays during Term 2, 2026.

📍 Where: Meet in the Parish Meeting Room at 8:30 AM to prep ingredients and pack sandwiches. Children are welcome to join with a supervising adult until the 9 AM bell.

🕒 When: Activities will wrap up at approximately 9:30 AM, including clean up.

💲 Contribution: Please bring a $5 donation per family to help cover the cost of ingredients.

📞 RSVP: Confirm your attendance and number of children by reaching out to our Family Educator, Kirrily, at kirrily.mcdermott@syd.catholic.edu.au.

👥 Capacity: We can accommodate a maximum of 20 participants per session, and we may allow families to join only one session per term to ensure everyone gets a chance to help out.

🚚 After preparing the sandwiches, we will deliver them to Vinnies Van HQ at West Ryde. If you’re unable to attend but would still like to contribute, feel free to bring in donations of home-baked muffins and cookies! Please individually wrap these treats to be donated along with the sandwiches. Just drop them off at the Parish Meeting Room in the morning.
