Výtvarná dílna pro mládež 13+ a dospělé: Tradiční tušová malba sumi-e

This workshop on traditional Japanese sumi-e ink painting focuses on the theme of “observing nature and people in the landscape.” The introductory part will take the form of a guided tour of the exhibition Asian Art Across Space and Time with curator Jana Ryndová, during which participants will learn about the principles of Asian ink painting and the work Observation of a Waterfall.

In the practical session led by Radka Müllerová, participants will try their hand at working with ink and brush and create their own painting inspired by traditional Japanese aesthetics, with an emphasis on gesture, empty space, and the relationship between humans and nature.
