We Need Some More Men In Here: Male Allyship in Dance Music

While we’ve been working on some exciting projects off the back of the Open Letter, one thing has become very clear: this isn’t a conversation we can have without men, because you can’t fix a system without involving the people who have historically held the most power in it.

So we’re bringing them into the room.

On the 21st May, we’ll be hosting a panel at Defected Basement, where our founder Martha will be in conversation with a group of men working at the top of different sectors in the music industry who take their allyship seriously.

The focus is simple - how can we mobilise men in this movement, and work together in driving change?
