Formed by the talented Taiwanese pipa player Fan-Qi Wu and the innovative Norwegian drummer Michael Lee Sørenmo, Wooli brings together the rich traditions of East Asian music with the spontaneity of free improvisation and electronic elements. Since their debut in Oslo in April 2024, they've captivated audiences across Europe at prestigious festivals such as the Vestafor Festival, Aarhus Jazz Festival, Babel Sound Festival, and (s)Nodi Festival.

Their self-titled album, Wooli, was released on March 13, 2026, showcasing their unique fusion of sounds and styles. 🌌
