Writing Club - Room 2 Be
We’re so excited to be hosting our first ever in-person Writing Club — a space designed for SHAPE students, graduates, and creatives to come together, think, and write in community.
This session is all about giving you the time and space to focus on your own work — whether that’s an essay, creative piece, script, or something you’ve been meaning to start.
We’ll also bring a few thought-provoking prompts and essay topics if you’d like some direction, but you’re completely free to write whatever you want.
This is a neurodivergent-inclusive space, with a focus on body doubling working alongside others to help improve focus, motivation, and ease into writing without pressure. You can engage in a way that feels comfortable for you.
Expect a calm, collaborative atmosphere where you can:
Work alongside others
Share ideas and get inspired
Optionally share your work and receive feedback
The session will be held in a family-owned café, and while the event is free, we kindly ask that you support the space by purchasing a coffee or something small if you’re able to.
Limited to 15 spaces to keep the environment focused and intimate.
Come as you are, bring your ideas, and let’s write.
