Agentic AI Observability and Control: A Hands-On Bootcamp with TraceCtrl

Join us for an enlightening workshop where you'll discover the crucial role of visibility and control in agentic AI applications! Participants will engage with a pre-built agentic AI application (using either OpenClaw or AWS Strands) and leverage TraceCtrl to ensure robust instrumentation, track agent interactions, and expose security vulnerabilities. At the end of the session, you'll create a comprehensive topology map of the application's agent communication, along with a detailed attack surface analysis and actionable recommendations for hardening your setup.

🗓️ Workshop Agenda:

• Introduction to Agentic AI & TraceCtrl (30 min): Gain insights into agentic AI and explore how TraceCtrl enhances observability into agent behavior, featuring a live product demonstration!
• TraceCtrl Setup & OpenClaw Integration (60 min): Learn to install and configure TraceCtrl to operate seamlessly with your agent, integrate with your OpenClaw setup, and execute scans to produce an inventory of configured components, a static topology map, and a security assessment.
• Remediation & Security Scenarios (30 min): Dive into how to address identified issues, featuring auto-remediation, followed by a live demonstration of various security scenarios on OpenClaw.

🔑 Prerequisites:

• Laptop
• Basic developer knowledge (comfortable using the terminal, Git, and running an app on localhost).
• Environment Requirements:
  • Python 3.10 or higher
  • Node.js 20 or higher
  • Docker installed (Docker Compose highly recommended)

Agent Setup: A functioning installation of OpenClaw or a Strands agent with your API keys configured.

To gain the most valuable insights during the live topology mapping, please bring a sophisticated, well-configured agent or OpenClaw instance. A setup guide will be shared a few days before the workshop to help you prepare your environment.
