Welcome to the Colours of Being Community Café! Join us for our free fortnightly gathering filled with delicious food, lively conversation, and a welcoming space to share your creative endeavors! Everyone is welcome!
‼️ IMPORTANT: Please SIGN UP (free) at this link for the dates you plan to attend, so we can prepare the right amount of food and reduce waste.
What to Expect:
💬 Come and go at your leisure! This is a free-flowing event.
- 4-6 PM: Shopping & Cooking (We are a small non-profit, self-organised community that thrives on active participation! If you can assist, please reach out. Join our cooking WhatsApp group).
- 6-6:30 PM: Name Tag Creation & Exploration - Mingle, participate, and enjoy our soundcheck if we have an artist.
- Until 7 PM: Dinner
- 7 PM: Creating Chances - Share your thoughts, declarations, and requests. Think of this as our version of networking, leveraging the community's strength!
- 7:30-8:30 PM: Continue mingling, participate in activities, or enjoy performances at ListeningLeaves.
- 8:30-9 PM: Community Clean Up
- 9-10 PM: Open Hangout
Ongoing Activities:
- 🎲 GameGroove: Board game corner—bring your own or play with ours!
- 📚 SerenityStream: A Book Nook for soft, peaceful reading and observing.
- 🗣 ConversationCove: Each Café has a specific Inspiration Question to help spark discussions.
- ✍🏼 MakingMeadow: Arts & Crafts Corner—bring your own materials for drawing, writing, and playing! (we do not provide materials)
- 🎤 ListeningLeaves: Optionally showcase your art or performance. Interested performers can connect with us via thecoloursofbeing.com/listening-leaves.
What's Brewing:
- 🍜 Soup & 🥖 Bread: Hearty, homemade, and comforting. Soup availability depends on community helpers!
- ☕️ Coffee & 🫖 Tea: Enjoy a selection brewed with care!
- 🫴🏼 BYO: Feel free to bring your favorite snacks, drinks, games, or books to share!
🐾 Furry Friends and Little Ones Welcome! Bring your pets and kids—just help us maintain a clean and cozy space for all.
