The Actors Theatre Workshop (ATW) is building a sanctuary for genuine human connection in an increasingly fragmented world. This free creative workshop series welcomes participants from every background β immigrants, young people, senior citizens, business professionals, and everyone in between β to gather, share ideas in a safe and nurturing space, and rediscover the profound humanity that unites us all. πβ¨
π€ No acting experience required β just an open heart and a willingness to share!
π¨ What to Expect
Facilitated by ATW's Artistic Director Thurman E. Scott, this program centers on active, hands-on participation. Throughout each session, attendees will:
- βοΈ Write β explore personal narratives through guided writing exercises
- ποΈ Draw β express visions and ideas visually
- π¬ Reflect & Discuss β engage in meaningful guided conversations
- π Share β present stories and visions for the future
- π οΈ Build Skills β develop practical storytelling techniques for authentic self-expression
Each session blends writing exercises, guided discussions, and presentations into a rich, collaborative experience.
