Independence Fest featuring Veterans Celebration 2026

Join us for a beloved local tradition that's been going strong for over 28 years in celebration of our Nation’s 250th Birthday! 🎉 Come enjoy a full day of family fun at Clintonwood Park!

What to Expect:

• Tasty Food Options 🍔: Indulge in your favorites from food trucks, serving everything from hot dogs and hamburgers to delicious desserts!
• Live Entertainment 🎶: Enjoy performances throughout the day, featuring talented acts including Rick & Dayna Lieder and Fifty Amp Fuse, covering classic rock hits.
• Veterans Celebration 🇺🇸: A special ceremony at 11:30 AM honoring local veterans and celebrating America250, hosted by the Sons of the American Revolution.
• Family Activities 🤹‍♂️: From inflatable fun ($15 unlimited play wristband) to face painting, caricature art, and the free spray park, there’s something for everyone!
• Classic Car Show 🚗: Admire stunning classic cars from 11 AM to 2 PM.
• Ropes Course 🎢: Test your climbing skills with our portable ropes course!
• Fireworks Display 🎇: End your day with a spectacular fireworks show, weather permitting.

Parking Information: 🚗

• Clintonwood Park: $5/car until 2 PM, $10 after.
• Everest Academy: Same rates with FREE shuttle service available.
• Clarkston Schools Admin Building: Opens at 4 PM, $5/car with free shuttle.

Volunteer Opportunities 🙌: Help us make this event unforgettable! Meals and a commemorative t-shirt provided for volunteers. Ages 14 and up welcome!
