Celebrate a proud local tradition rooted in Scottish heritage at this long-standing event, with its inaugural edition launched in 1968 by Bill Rutherford and pipe major Ron Stewart. Originally supported by the British Steel Corporation at the Welfare Club Grounds, the Gathering has transformed over the decades into a splendid two-day festival at Charter Field in Corby’s Old Village, drawing visitors from near and far!

With vibrant pipe band contests, traditional games, dance performances, food stalls, crafts, and entertainment for the entire family, this community-led event showcases the spirit of the town, also known as "Little Scotland."

1️⃣ Big Dogs Wooden Log for Reps - 60 seconds to lift as many reps as possible!

• Beginner: 80kg
• Novice: 90kg
• Intermediate: 110kg
• Open: 130kg

2️⃣ Stone Shot Put - 3 attempts to see who can throw it the farthest! (Weights TBC)

3️⃣ Shield Carry for Max Distance - Carry your shield for 20m!

• Beginner: 110kg
• Novice: 125kg
• Intermediate: 145kg
• Open: 160kg

4️⃣ Dinnie Stone Replica Handles - Carry as far as you can on a 20m course!

5️⃣ Car Deadlift for Reps - Lift as many times as you can in 60 seconds! (Weights TBC)

6️⃣ Front Hold - Hold a mystery object for as long as you can! 💪
