About the event

Shum Davar (דבר שום) invites you to their penultimate concert, taking place on June 22, 2026 at 7:30 PM (doors at 7:00 PM) at the Synagoga Na Palmovce in Prague.

This special evening will reunite many of the musicians who have passed through the ensemble over the years. The program will present a representative cross-section of the group’s work — from traditional Jewish, Romani, Eastern European and Caucasian songs to original compositions by accordionist and co-founder Aliaksandr Yasinski, as well as more recent projects created in collaboration with distinguished guest artists.

Founded in Prague in 2013 by musicians from Belarus, Georgia, Bohemia and Moravia, Shum Davar has developed a distinctive sound that combines deep respect for musical traditions with original creativity and a contemporary approach to arrangement.

The ensemble has released four albums — Lieben (2016), Tbilisi (2017), Folklore Fusions (2020), and Rebirth (2025) — as well as the single Tribute to Ukraine (2022), alongside a number of other projects and collaborations. Over the years, the line-up has continually evolved and expanded to include many distinctive musical personalities, many of whom will reunite on stage for this special concert.

Shum Davar’s penultimate concert will be more than a musical event — it will be a celebration of a shared journey, friendship, and over a decade of artistic collaboration.
