Join us for our Communal Reading Meetup! 🌟

These regular gatherings are a great way to connect with our wonderful community, especially for those new to the Asian Book Club Helsinki. Everyone is warmly welcomed!

What We Do

• 📖 Read Together: We spend about an hour reading in silence. You can choose to read the selected book for our upcoming discussion or any other (Asian) book that interests you.
• 💬 Connect & Chat: Before and after our reading session, you'll have the chance to mingle and chat with fellow participants.

Meetup Program

• 16:30-17:00: Arrivals, ordering drinks & treats
• 17:00-18:00: Communal Reading (in silence)
• 18:00-18:30: Time to connect with fellow book lovers

About Us

The Asian Book Club Helsinki is an open and diverse community that loves reading and exploring Asian literature, featuring:

• Authors from various Asian backgrounds, including diaspora authors.
• Stories from all five Asian regions: East, Southeast, South, West, and Central.
• A mix of contemporary literary fiction including novels, short stories, novellas, and memoirs.

All meetups are free of charge, but we kindly ask everyone to support our lovely (Asian) venue by ordering drinks and treats from their menu.
