Following the discussion, stay on in the Members Bar for the live streaming of the anticipated Ireland v Australia match!

Hear directly from AFLW players as they share their journeys from Ladies Gaelic Football in Ireland to professional sport in Australia, the opportunities and challenges of making the move, and the qualities Irish players bring to the game.

Together we'll discuss the legacy of pioneers such as Cora Staunton, how the AFLW pathway has evolved, and the friendships, communities and connections Irish players are building across Australia. The conversation will also look ahead to the Ireland v Australia clash and what the future holds for women's football between our two nations.
