🌸 Clay Hand Building: Female & Floral Forms
Create Your Own Ceramic Piece
Hosted in partnership with Paris Vivianne Panigiri
📍 Zoku Amsterdam | Amsterdam Oost
🗓 Sunday, May 24
🕛 12:30–15:30
Step into a gentle, tactile afternoon where clay becomes a medium for quiet expression. This workshop weaves together floral imagery and the female form as a symbolic visual language, rendered through hand-built ceramics. Rooted in folk and botanical traditions, participants are invited to experience flowers not merely as ornamental elements, but as vessels of meaning — embodying care, memory, renewal, and a soft, enduring optimism.
👩🎨 About the Workshop
Guided by artist Paris Vivianne Panigiri, this atelier champions intuitive creation over technical precision. Using foundational hand-building methods — pinching and slab-building — you'll shape a piece of your choosing: a decorative plate, bowl, wall piece, or small sculptural form, then adorn it with raised, pressed, or softly sculpted floral motifs. The entire process centres on touch, rhythm, and letting each piece reveal its own unique character.
By the close of the session, every participant will have crafted a one-of-a-kind clay artwork and painted it with acrylic colours, bringing floral forms vividly to life. No prior experience is necessary — this workshop is designed to be both grounding and expressive, carving out a quiet space for meaningful making.

Paris Vivianne Panigiri is an abstract impressionistic artist whose practice draws from nature's intricate beauty, the depth of human emotion, and the powerful movement of the sea. Her work explores harmony as a layered, complex tapestry that mirrors the emotional textures of lived experience.
Through colour, form, and texture, Panigiri's pieces communicate beyond language — channelling feeling into tangible expression. Each work functions as a visual symphony, inviting a deep resonance between artwork and viewer. Her approach foregrounds intuition, emotional honesty, and the quiet magic that emerges when materials and feeling move in unison.
