An Evening for the PUSD Trees with Julia Butterfly Hill

Sobre el evento

Join us for a memorable evening as we welcome Julia Butterfly Hill, a remarkable environmental advocate known for her legendary 738-day tree sit to protect an ancient California redwood. 🌲✨ This event is hosted by the passionate youth dedicated to saving the trees of the Pasadena Unified School District.

What to Expect:

  • Inspiration from Julia Butterfly Hill 🌍
  • Live music performances by local youth 🎶
  • Artwork and T-shirts available for purchase 🎨👕
  • Exciting raffle prizes 🎟️

Ticket Information:

  • Student Tickets: $5 (valid student ID required at the door)
  • Adult Tickets: $25–$1,000 (pay what you can)

Can't make it? You can still support our noble cause by making a donation! Every penny goes directly to the initiative aimed at preserving the trees.

Despite our advocacy, the District has yet to commit to preserving the remaining trees targeted for removal. Recently, mature and protected trees at San Rafael Elementary School were removed without appropriate permits during bird nesting season. 🐦🚫

Let's unite to safeguard these precious trees from further loss! 🤝🌿
