Future Arts Way is a public augmented reality trail that spans four neighborhoods in Seattle: Belltown, Central Downtown, the Waterfront, and Pioneer Square. Starting from the Pacific Science Center and ending at King Street Station, this trail features original AR artworks created by local and regional artists, seamlessly integrated into the city's landscape. Experience immersive digital art that draws on Indigenous knowledge, community histories, and future visions — no gallery needed, just your phone, your feet, and the street!

What Happens on the Tour 🚶‍♂️

Your guide will lead a small group along the trail, stopping at each AR drop to activate the artwork and share the story behind it, including details about the artist and the significance of the location. Expect a mix of sweeping immersive experiences and intimate surprises, all responding to your surroundings. Engage in conversation and curiosity, with moments that may leave you in awe.

Tour Details 📍

The tour begins at WeRise Wines and concludes at Benaroya Hall's Octave 9. It is led by Yuliya Bruk, the Executive Director of Future Arts, guiding you through Seattle's Central Downtown Neighborhood while unlocking augmented reality stories embedded in the streets and storefronts.
