Bachata on Mt. Washington // Kick-off to the FTLOB Summer Weekender

Join us for a FREE celebration of the Latin dance community in Pittsburgh, hosted by For the Love of Bachata since 2013! 🕺💃

📍 Location: We’ll be at the overlook across from the Carnegie Library on Grandview. Use this address: 315 Grandview Avenue, Pittsburgh PA 15211 to find us.

🗓️ Event Schedule:

• 6:30 PM: Beginner Bachata lesson
• 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM: Open social dancing! Enjoy mostly Bachata, with some Salsa, Merengue, and even a Dembow animation! 🔥

💵 Cost:
FREE for all! If you purchase a full pass to the FTLOB Summer Weekender, you're helping cover our event costs, which include over $450 in permits.

💼 What to Bring:

• WATER! The nearest restaurant is a few blocks away.
• A fanny pack for essentials (keys, etc.) is a good idea, as there's no safe space for belongings at the overlook.

👟 Shoes:
Wear comfortable dancing shoes suitable for concrete.

🚻 Bathrooms:
The closest restrooms are several blocks away on Shiloh St.

🚗 Directions & Parking:

• Street parking on Grandview is free at this time.
• There are paid lots on Shiloh St. (read signs) and some residential parking nearby (beware, check signs!).
• You can also take the Monongahela Incline: park at the Monongahela Lower Station in Station Square and ride it up to Grandview Avenue. Just walk down the street to find us! 🚠
