With an adventurous spirit and a passion for pushing Irish traditional music in new directions, Beoga has spent more than two decades building a distinctive voice within contemporary Irish music. Formed through Comhaltas in Northern Ireland, the band is known for inventive arrangements, rhythmic drive, and deeply connected ensemble playing shaped through years of touring together.Many listeners first discovered Beoga through collaborations with Ed Sheeran on “Galway Girl” and “Nancy Mulligan” from his ÷ album, but the band’s influence within Irish music stretches far beyond those recordings.
