Pioneers of American hardcore punk, Black Flag helped define the sound and spirit of underground music with their uncompromising DIY ethic, relentless touring, and landmark releases including Damaged, My War, and Slip It In. Formed in Hermosa Beach, California in 1976 by founding guitarist Greg Ginn, the band's influence can be heard across generations of punk, hardcore, metal, and alternative rock.
Today, Black Flag enters a new chapter led by Greg Ginn alongside Max Zanelly (vocals), David Rodriguez (bass), and Bryce Weston (drums). The revitalized lineup continues the band's legacy with a renewed focus on live performance and new music, bringing the intensity and uncompromising spirit that has made Black Flag one of punk's most enduring and influential bands.
