This time, we'll be reading and discussing Empire of Pain by Patrick Radden Keefe. This thoroughly researched book delves into one of the richest families in the world, exploring the realms of philanthropy and the pharmaceutical industry more broadly. Continuing our recent streak, there are several references to Columbia.

It's perfectly fine if you don't finish the book by the time we meet; you're still welcome to join us!
