Booked on Thursdays: "Queer Voices: Poetry, Prose, and Pride"

Join us at the Minnesota Historical Society for an exciting new event series, Booked on Thursdays! Everyone is invited to come together, share reflections, and discuss a curated selection of books by local Minnesota authors. The stories focus on themes of community resilience, resistance, and joy.

Whether you've read a few pages, a few chapters, or the entire book, your participation is welcome! Each session is an informal gathering where you can connect with others who share similar interests, as well as learn about resources related to the history and themes highlighted in our featured book.

This month's highlighted book is Queer Voices: Poetry, Prose, and Pride, edited by Andrea Jenkins, John Medeiros, and Lisa Marie Brimmer. If you'd like a free copy of a book from the reading list, feel free to email us at engagement@mnhs.org after registering, as we have limited copies available upon request.
