Toots and the Maytals, formed in the 1960s, initially debuted as The Maytals with the album ’Sweet And Dandy’ in 1969. Known as pioneers of reggae, they were the first to use the term 'reggae' in their 1968 single ‘Do The Reggay’.

Frederick ‘Toots' Hibbert, a reggae icon, was named one of the 100 greatest singers of all time by Rolling Stone.
