Canoeing Trip to the Sky Mountain

Embark on a magical canoeing adventure through one of Denmark’s most picturesque regions! 🛶 Join us as we paddle towards the renowned Himmelbjerget, nestled in a scenic and idyllic part of the country. 🌲✨

We'll start our journey with a bus ride to the charming town of Ry, where we’ll gather our canoes and receive an introductory lesson on paddling. 🚍🛶

Itinerary:

• 09:30: Meet at Studenterhus Aarhus and set off for Ry.
• 10:30: Get your canoes, life vests, and a quick paddling tutorial.
• 13:00: Arrive at the foot of Himmelbjerget, ascend to the top, and enjoy our lunch surrounded by breathtaking views. 🥗🏔️
• 15:00: Canoe back to Ry.
• 17:30: Return to Aarhus by bus.

Expect to paddle for approximately 4 hours, so while no experience is necessary, a bit of arm strength will be required! 💪 If the wind proves too strong, we’ll explore a different lovely spot for lunch instead! 🌊

What to Bring: Lunch, snacks, water, a plastic bag for your belongings, and appropriate clothing for the weather. Don’t forget your swimsuit if you wish to take a dip in the waters of Himmelbjerget! 🩱
