Celtic Thursday Trail - Belgium Waffle Route

Join us for an exciting evening run along the scenic Belgium Waffle route! 🏃‍♂️🏞️

We'll kick things off at Kloof Nek, where you'll enjoy a chilled Jack Black Beer after the run. 🍺 All participants are encouraged to contribute to the Volunteer Wildfire Volunteers' noble cause by visiting here.

Meeting Point:
Parking area on the left just 100 meters up Tafelberg Road from the Kloof Nek traffic circle (near the Sanparks info center). 📍

Route Details:

• Cross Kloof Road at the Nek (be cautious!).
• Head up Signal Hill Road, then turn left onto a single track towards Kramat.
• Before reaching Kramat, veer right towards Signal Hill Road and take the lower single track.
• Continue upwards until you reach Signal Hill Road closer to the top, and then make your way to the spine track back to the start.

Distance: Approximately 10 km
Difficulty: 7/10 - Some uneven sections underfoot but manageable.

🗣️ Important: Always stay in your groups and do not run ahead of your group leader! If you're new to the runs and unsure about the pace, it's best to stick with a slower group initially.
