CFL RECON- Lake Fairview Cleanup + OC DEC

Join us for a community effort to clean up Lake Fairview in partnership with the Orange County Democratic Environmental Caucus! 🌿

Our cleanup event is FREE to attend and will take place at Lake Breeze RV Park. We have six kayaks available on a first-come, first-served basis, equipped with grabbers, a personal flotation device (PFD), trash bin, and paddle. If you're a walking volunteer, we’ll provide buckets, grabbers, and latex gloves to help with the cleanup.

Trash tends to accumulate in the parking area by the launch ramp, so let’s tackle that before it reaches the lake! Feel free to bring your own paddle-craft if you have one. Please note, if you cannot swim, we kindly request that you stay on land.

At the conclusion of the cleanup, we’ll bag and weigh all collected trash and take a group photo to commemorate the effort! 📸

What to Bring:

• Plenty of water to stay hydrated 💧
• A hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen ☀️
• Shoes you don’t mind getting wet 👟
