A project by Tomáš Didunyk (lyrics, vocals, rap, trombone) and Petr Schovánek (music, production, vocals, rap, trombone). Taskent combines poetic rap accompanied by wind instruments and precise dance rhythms. Their music serves as a soundtrack for nighttime wanderings through the city and for reflecting on one’s own thoughts.

The roots of this musical project date back to 2019. Through a conceptual album, Tomáš Didunyk and Petr Schovánek present a series of stories and cases featuring social detective who hopelessly tries to solve cases of sadness, loneliness, alienation, and love.

Taskent is a synergy of artists from two generations, a synergy of electronic music, vocals, rap, and two trombones.
