Cleland Wine Shanty and Chambers Gully Combo (16km)

Join us for an adventurous hike through the stunning Cleland National Park! 🌳

This 16km walk features a blend of moderate to challenging trails, including the scenic Wine Shanty Trail and Chambers Gully. Expect a mix of steep climbs and descents, with some rocky and potentially slippery sections. Hiking poles are recommended for your comfort.

🕗 Meeting Details

Please arrive by 8:15 AM for an 8:30 AM start. We will meet at a small car park on Waterfall Gully Road, opposite the residential address 27a Waterfall Gully Road, Burnside. Note: do not enter Langman Reserve into your maps, as it will lead you to a different location. A toilet is available just up the hill behind the car park.

• Daypack/backpack for personal gear

• Blister kit/personal medications
• High-energy snacks/fruit
• Comfortable hiking boots/walking shoes with good grip
• Layerable clothing (e.g., jacket or jumper)

☔ Weather Policy

Check the weather forecast here. The hike may be canceled due to extreme weather or if a fire ban is issued for the Adelaide Hills, with a full refund provided. Last-minute cancellations will occur only in the event of severe weather warnings.

🤝 Additional Information

Our hikes promote fun, fitness, and friendship—no intense training sessions here! The minimum age for participation is 18, provided they are accompanied by a supervising adult.

To ensure the hike proceeds, at least 5 walkers must register by 5 PM the day before the event. We'll notify you if the hike is canceled due to insufficient registration.
