Join us for a delightful evening at the Cookbook Club, where we celebrate the vibrant food and culture of Tokyo in collaboration with the Culturally Curious Club! 🇯🇵 Have you indulged in Japanese street food yet? This gathering invites you to dive into the culinary riches of Tokyo!

What to Expect:

Explore the diverse flavors of Tokyo with recipes from Maori Murota's Tokyo Cult Recipes. A native Tokyo chef now living in Paris, Maori shares her memories of family meals and iconic dishes that characterize her hometown.

We'll be:

• Sharing a potluck featuring dishes from Tokyo Cult Recipes
• Making Onigiri together, with rice and various fillings provided

Bring:

• A dish to share (homemade or store-bought)
• An empty stomach 🍽️
• An open heart & mind ❤️

Agenda:

• 5:30 PM: Gather and display your dish. Grab a drink and toast the summer! 🥂
• 6:00 PM: Make new friends while learning to craft Onigiri. Enjoy tasty dishes from our shared feast!
• 8:00 PM: Farewell time! Exchange contact info and take home some delicious leftovers — containers provided!

How to Prepare:

1. Sign up to attend and reserve your ticket here!
2. Choose a dish to bring, noting any dietary information on the recipe sign-up sheet.
3. Prepare (or buy) something delicious to share! Don’t worry if you're short on time; pick up something fitting the theme!
4. Bring serving utensils; we’ll provide plates, cups, and silverware.
