A selector whose roots dig deep into Jamaican sound system culture and hip-hop, Luca COBE is an archivist of the underground. His sets are a masterclass in unearthing timeless cuts and unexpected connections. He navigates the wide spectrum of bass music, from UK garage to jungle, effortlessly bridging eras and moods with a low-end-heavy signature.

GHEORDU

Miruna, known as Gheordu, is a Romanian DJ and researcher whose work is grounded in both the academic and the visceral. A key contributor to the Underton portal, her PhD research into sound as a vibration force translates directly into the booth. Her sets are studies on contrast, marrying syncopated kicks and layered textures with UK rave DNA and drums, ensuring an ever-evolving mood, that is both danceable and intellectually thrilling.

With a 15-year evolution that began in drum & bass, Sour has expanded his sonic palette into a hypnotic blend of moody breaks and techno-influenced rhythms. He favours the long-form narrative over the quick fix, weaving intricate percussion into immersive sounds. His sets are a journey through inclusivity, reflecting a deep passion for the community-driven ethos of club culture.

Driven by a keen awareness of the room, tia is a DJ who thrives on spontaneity. Bianca Ioana refuses to fit one shape, and blends in breaks, techno, and bass-heavy sounds, as she may seem fit. Her sets are fluid, as presence and connection take precedence over a rigid tracklist, favoring a shared experience.

For over two decades, Leo has been a foundational pillar of Bucharest's alternative scene. As a ctrl resident, he orchestrates playlists that are the lifeblood of the Front Room. Expect vital cuts from Britpop, Indie Rock, and New Wave, as well as alternative anthems that have soundtracked a thousand late nights. What follows are moments of pure euphoria that turn the room into a singing and dancing congregation.
