Join us for the second event in our DIY cafe series, Daydream: a space dedicated to nurturing your inner worlds and envisioning the futures we desire. 🌈✨

This Week's Theme: Abolish ICE Bake Sale

Featuring delicious savory and sweet treats from our talented bakers, Yang and Maya, along with coffee and tea served by Mon. ☕🍰

Purpose:

We're raising funds directly for the Beteta Family, who are in urgent need of child and medical support due to the unlawful detention of the father at Delaney Hall.

Additional Highlights:

• Vinyl record collection curated by Maya 🎶
• Reading and digital action corner focusing on Demilitarize Brooklyn Navy Yard initiatives.

Knowledge & Resource Share:

1 PM - 2 PM
Join our casual open mic to discuss what you’re learning about ICE and ways to support our community. Share insights about:

• Teach-ins you attended
• Articles or podcasts you found enlightening
• Organizing groups you're part of
• Actions you’re promoting
• Any questions you have that the group can help answer
• Uplifting families impacted by ICE

Additional Notes:

• The cafe is located on the third floor — two flights of stairs. A freight elevator is also available. 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️
• BYOM (Bring Your Own Mug/Cup), if possible.
• RSVP, and feel free to come and go as you please!
• If you can't make it this time, stay tuned for our next cafe, happening every other Sunday.
