Introducing Our Host : Chris
Hi, I'm Chris.
Originally from the UK, I've now spent more than half my life in Spain, so these days I like to think of myself as a Madrileño de Reino Unido.
By day, I run a group of Spanish language schools that welcomes around 8,000 students from all over the world each year. It's a job that's taken me to fascinating places, introduced me to incredible people, and reinforced one belief: life gets more interesting when you're curious.
Outside work, I'm happiest when I'm learning something new. That might mean exploring another country (I'm up to around 70 so far, with Kyrgyzstan next on the list), renovating a property, training for a challenge (Hyrox is on the 2026 agenda), or attempting yet another sport that I'm convinced I'll master one day.
I'm also a proud dad to two amazing kids. One still thinks I'm a superhero; the other has politely downgraded me to a wise old man who occasionally knows what he's talking about.
Friends tell me I'm a good listener, and I'd like to think they're right. I value good people, meaningful conversations, and the feeling that we're all still growing. So if there's something you're passionate about—or something you're trying to figure out—I'd genuinely love to hear about it.
Looking forward to sharing an evening of great food, interesting conversations, and hopefully leaving with a few perspectives none of us arrived with.

All meals are 3 courses, cooked in-home by a professional chef.

Dress Code
Smart casual summer — light, breathable, and put-together. Think elevated everyday, not black tie.
