You'll build your musical identity while learning the technical basics of DJ-ing in one afternoon. This hands-on workshop aims to be the starting point for your DJ journey, providing direction and clarity.

We'll explore:

• The basic layout of industry-standard DJ equipment and software.
• How DJs decide what kinds of music they want to play.
• Characteristics of music and how they fit into a DJ set.
• Different types of DJs (and where you might fit).
• How taste, intention, and context shape a DJ’s sound.
