Ear Seed & Beads Acupuncture Workshop

This practice didn't start in a clinic. In the 1970s, the Young Lords and Black Panthers built their own healthcare systems — right in the streets, in community centers, and in Mott Haven. Auricular acupuncture became a vital tool for healing stress, trauma, and disconnection, empowering communities to care for each other directly.

We're excited to bring this powerful lineage to Harlem!

Led by Juan Cortez from Radical Health, this hands-on workshop will teach you ear seed application techniques used in trauma-informed care, substance use recovery, and everyday wellness — all without needles! No medical background is required; just bring your hands and an open heart. 💖
