Elton John and Freddie Mercury met in the 70s, at the peak of their careers, forming a deep respect and friendship, but sadly they did little together musically. This show seeks to create what a musical meeting between these two giants might have looked like.

🌟 Meet the Performers

• Johan Boding: A highly skilled singer with a deeply touching voice, Johan has toured the world, performing in arena shows that honor Freddie Mercury and Queen as well as in successful productions like Thank You for the Music, Sol Vind och Vatten, and Den Svenska Sångboken. He has also starred in several Rhapsody in Rock events and music theatre classics, including Miss Saigon and Jesus Christ Superstar.

• Jonas Gideon: A Swedish musician, singer, and pianist whose passion for music ignited in childhood. At the age of eight, he began playing Elton John's songs on the piano, laying the groundwork for his musical journey. A pivotal moment came in 1998 when he coincidentally met Elton John before a concert at Ullevi in Gothenburg. This encounter inspired him to learn nearly 200 of Elton's songs and to see him live 14 times. After 20 years in the music industry, he launched A True Elton John Tribute in 2023, which quickly became a success with sold-out performances and glowing reviews. Throughout his career, Jonas has collaborated with many of Sweden's top artists, including Carola, Molly Sandén, Jennifer Brown, Victor Norén, and Janne Schaffer.
